About John John has been a lover of color for decades. A Graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelors of Fine Art in photography. John has been working as a professional artist for over 20 years winning awards, and showing his art both locally, regionally and nationally. John is one of a handful of visual artist educators on the states Roster of Arts in Education, working with students of all ages. John has been teaching within the State of New Hampshire's University System at the Collage of Lifelong Learning, Plymouth State University and the Laconia Community Collage within the arts department. John volunteers within the state tutoring students in Technology Students Association program. John Started making Tie-Dye with friends and their kids to brighten up his 225+ year old Colonial Farm House, Everybody had so much fun, they all did it several times before John went looking for wholesale supplier of shirts and Dye. Combining his experience in arts education he started working with small groups playing with color at small events, and parties where he always leaves people with Colorful shirts, and lots of smiles. John’s Tie Dye creations have traveled to Big events at the Big E, and the Providence Convention Center where they have met critical acclaim, and have been mailed across the country. While John’s shirts are fantastic, his real ability is helping others make their own Tie Dye Creation. “You can’t mess up a Tie-Dye”, especially when looking over your shoulder and offering advice. More amazing Tie-Dye shirts are on the backs of people that have done their own shirts at my Tie-Dye tent than i have created. Even Those who claim NOT to be artistic made some FanTabULously Groovy shirts. And what could be easier that leaving the mess behind at somebody else's place? |
